Karl Jenkins - Symphonic Adiemus

Experience the sweeping new age symphonic tapestry of Sir Karl Jenkins' Symphonic Adiemus, blending ethnic and world music sounds into a grand work, where the human voice becomes its own instrument as part of the orchestra.

The concert also features the world premiere of Quest for the King by local composition student Jonathan Siow, the exuberant Ecstatic Dance by Australian composer Ross Edwards, and a selection of intimate and spiritually uplifting a cappella choral works by Karl Jenkins.

The NSO is delighted to partner with the Adelaide Philharmonia Chorus, under the direction of Aldis Sils, to present this special event.

While we pride ourselves on providing affordable tickets, we regret that we are unable to offer concession and group discounts for this special event. Concession and group discounts remain available for all other 2026 concerts.

Tickets are available online until 1 hour before the session time. Please have your tickets ready to present at the door, either printed or on your smartphone. All advertised prices are inclusive of a 50c per ticket booking fee, which will be added to your order during check-out, and include a complimentary printed or digital program.

Any remaining tickets will be available at the door from 1:45pm - cash or card. However, as our recent concerts have been popular, we encourage guests to book early online to avoid disappointment.

All seating is general admission. You will need to select either stalls or dress circle when booking. Note that the dress circle has limited visibility to the front of the orchestra and is only accessible by stairs.

For the comfort of others, we kindly ask that children 12 and under are supervised by an adult at all times and remain quiet while the orchestra is performing.

Refunds (excluding the 50c TryBooking fee) are available for change-of-mind up until 48 hours before the event or if you are unable to attend due to illness or extenuating circumstances on the day. All refund requests for online sales must be submitted by email [email protected]  and will not be processed at the venue box office.
