Order & DefianceTwo composers. Two centuries apart. This is a concert of contrast, from the elegance and structured form of J.S. Bach's baroque violin concerto, featuring baroque instrumental specialist Holly Piccoli (violin), to the powerful sounds of Dmitri Shostakovich, set among the resistance and defiance against Soviet oppression in the 20th Century.
